LABORATORY is a new body of work created using the art studio as a laboratory for pictorial experimentation. I focused on the possibilities of application that the medium gives me, connecting to my emotional development and what I can achieve by manipulating the physicality of the paint and materials. The goal of LABORATORY is to create a visual language through color, textures, and shapes. The accumulation of layers, which are the product of continuous painting sessions, each one different from the other without prior planning, is also a way of documenting the passage of time. The traces of paint on the canvas are layers that evolve organically, seeking to connect with the observer in a sensory way, creating a dialogue and inviting the observer to be part of the fluid and energetic movement of the pictorial space.
